The Gateway to Global Aging Data is a data and information platform developed to facilitate longitudinal and cross-country analyses on aging, especially those using the family of Health and Retirement Studies (HRS) around the world. The Gateway indexes and extensively documents study designs and survey questionnaires. The Gateway Environmental Exposome project is adding information about the environment where survey participants live. So far, the Gateway Environmental Exposome project has generated information on various environmental measures for surveys from 8 countries from 1990 to 2022. The Gateway is funded by the National Institute on Aging and all data and documentation are available to researchers without cost.
Our international team who build and support the Gateway, consists of researchers, programmers, and software engineers based at the Center for Economic and Social Research, the University of Southern California and partner institutions around the world. Email our team at help@g2aging.org.
